Energetic Chromotherapy (Spectro-Chrome)
Energetic chromotherapy holds that each colour of the visible spectrum exerts a therapeutic action of its own upon the body or upon energy centres. Its modern form is Dinshah Ghadiali's Spectro-Chrome, presented from 1927 onwards. It holds no health-agency recognition, and its founding device was the subject of court decisions: prosecuted by the Food and Drug Administration, Ghadiali was convicted in 1947 for false and misleading claims, followed by a permanent federal injunction in 1958. Certificates issued by private schools confer no scientific validation. This entry was separated from medical light therapy (TI81) on 4 August 2026: the earlier single entry placed, under the title "Chromotherapy", a technique listed by the WHO alongside a practice banned by the United States courts.
